This industry is also seeing a strong shift from remodeling for resale to renovations prioritizing personal taste. Aiming for a financial return is no longer a prime concern and homeowners are now beginning to appreciate emotional value, fulfillment and comfort in their spaces.

According to Zillow, 80% of home buyers are factoring climate risks into their buying decisions. Millennials and Gen Z were cited as being more likely to consider climate compared to older generations when buying.
